Daily maintenance

Before starting the unit, the engine oil level must be checked. If the oil level is low, it should be added enough. It is also necessary to check the coolant level in the engine water tank and the electrolyte level in the battery.

  Note: The cooling system of the water tank and engine must be drained and cleaned every two years.

After following the conventional starter set, observe whether the instrument panel reading is normal. After the machine is turned on, a comprehensive inspection of the entire unit should be carried out to ensure its normal operation.

Preventive maintenance

Due to the different usage conditions of each unit, their preventive maintenance requirements are also different. The maintenance interval below is determined based on the maintenance calendar days and hours. When the first cycle expires (calculated in hours or calendar days), maintenance should be carried out.

If the unit is only used as a backup power source or is not used more than once a week, the unit should be tested at medium load for 15-30 minutes, once a week. The automatic control device available for selection can complete the weekly testing task mentioned above.

Daily maintenance, maintenance before each start

If the unit is used as a backup power source, the following maintenance procedures can be extended to weekly maintenance.

1. Visually inspect the entire unit. Pay attention to potential signs of leakage at the engine fuel system, cooling system, and lubrication seals.

2. Check for blockages or obstacles in the generator cooling ventilation plate.

3. Check if there is severe dust accumulation in the generator and control box.

If there is severe dust accumulation, it should be removed as it can cause electrical and cooling failures.

4. Check the air filter and clean or replace it if necessary.

5. Check the fuel level.

6. Check the engine coolant level.

7. To ensure that the airflow in the water tank is not obstructed

8. Check the condition and tension of the motor belt of the fan

9. Check the condition of all hose joints and hoses.

10. Check the oil level of the engine oil.

11. Check the wiring of the battery for corrosion

12. Check the electrolyte level of the battery and add distilled water if necessary.

13. After the above checks are completed, restart the machine.

14. Drain the accumulated water in the exhaust system condenser valve (if installed) and check for exhaust leaks.

15. Check for abnormal noise and vibration.

16. Check for liquid leakage and excessive pressure

17. Remove unnecessary items near the unit to prevent them from affecting operation or causing accidental injury.

18. Check the control board for any signs of abnormal operation.

Maintenance every 6 months or 250 hours

1. Repeat all daily maintenance items.

2. By simulating faults in the electrical system, all safety devices are tested to ensure that in the event of a malfunction, all systems can function properly.

3. Check all cap holes on the battery.

4. After starting the unit, observe the dashboard to ensure that all instruments are operating normally.

5. Tighten all exhaust pipe fittings.

6. Connect all wire connectors properly.
