The standby generator set generally operates for no more than 100 hours per year. High conversion efficiency but non durable exhaust purifiers can be used to reduce purchase costs. The commonly used generator sets operate between 2000 and 8000 hours per year, so ultra-high durability exhaust purifiers are needed to reduce long-term operating costs. 

High quality generator exhaust purifiers have high conversion efficiency, high durability, and extremely low failure rates. Low quality exhaust purifiers have very low actual conversion efficiency and are prone to malfunction under high exhaust temperatures and engine vibrations.
